A vote for Debbie Peterson is a vote for sustainability

Debbie Peterson is the perfect choice for San Luis Obispo County District 3 supervisor.

Much of District 3 is located in South County and outlying areas. Time and time again we are offered only candidates who are residents of and long time advocates for the City of San Luis Obispo and big spending special interest groups.

As former Grover Beach Mayor and a long time South County Realtor/Broker, Debbie Peterson will bring informed representation about our issues to county supervisor meetings.

Whether you reside in District 3 or not, be vigilant. All supervisors vote on crucial rulings that affect our daily lives – everything from water availability to county road repair to local land development and more.

I’ve known Debbie Peterson for 16 years in many roles, as a respected realtor, my mayor, and friend. Most of her critics are current and past employees of entrenched special interest groups like PG&E.

A recent Tribune letter criticized Peterson but failed to reveal that the writer has been employed both by the Tribune and PG&E and enjoys a PG&E pension. Recent news stories report that PG&E employee and current Grover Mayor, John Shoals, intentionally and illegally hid the identities of donors and the amounts of their campaign donations during the Grover Beach mayoral race.

Debbie Peterson

Debbie Peterson

Peterson is a staunch advocate for taxpayers and small business owners. It is she who finally won the prolonged fight against corruption saving the South San Luis Obispo County Sewer District $1 million per year. She enhanced local property values by bringing a bond initiative to a vote to repair crumbling Grover streets. She worked tirelessly to support future local business growth by advocating for our new high speed broadband internet network.

Peterson has an unmatched track record of bringing long-belabored initiatives to speedy fruition. A vote for Peterson is a vote to sustain and improve your quality of life.

Don’t allow massive campaign funding by wealthy special interest groups to steal this election.

Sharon Biddle has lived in Grover Beach for 22 years.

Debbie has been walking precincts personally throughout the district, SLO and South County.

Thank you, Sharon. All voters in District 3 need to do is read the ballot statements. Debbie Peterson is obviously the best choice, with a record of action to back up her words!

The ballot statement instructions are very specific about stating your “education and qualifications” and says nothing about actions taken while serving.

Obviously, Dan Carpenter did take significant actions that were well received by the electorate of the City of San Luis Obispo. He received the most votes as an incumbent and was reelected to the City Council.

Must I remind don the beachcomber that Debbie Peterson lost her reelection bid for Mayor of Grover Beach?

You must be desperate to talk about a ballot statement. Wow either you and your candidate work to retire the Bully or you are helping win again.

All you do is go after Dan Carpenter. Dumb or Smart?

You never attack Adam Hill. Dumb or Smart?

Your goal is to what??? Your mission is what???

If you want Adam Hill out get behind Dan or at least tell the public about the reasons to NOT ELECT Adam Hill again.

Your candidate is Adam Hill-like. She speaks like him and believes like him Oh MY!

Debbie Peterson is an Adam Hill but just nicer?

I get it now.

That is why you want to vote for Dan Carpenter because he is not like Adam Hill and he is different from Debbie Peterson because Adam and Debbie are two peas in a pod just one smiles more???

Vote for Dan Carpenter for Supervisor

Retire the Bully and his look alike

Dan Carpenter is the only candidate of the three in the race for 3rd District Supervisor who is telling it like it is. Dan is the only candidate opposed to the newly proposed Self Help County Sales Tax Proposal, which in all probability, will show up on the November ballot. Debbie Peterson and Adam Hill support the proposed sales tax increase in our county!

The proposal is a new 1/2 cent sales tax for roads due to the State of California confiscating our gas tax dollars and spending those precious billions of tax dollars on the “bullet train” project to nowhere! The newly proposed sales tax is not the solution!

The California High-Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA) has won the Independent Institute’s first California Golden Fleece Award for its lack of transparency and history of misleading the public about key details of the state’s “bullet-train” project, which no longer reflects what voters approved in 2008.

Stop the insanity and vote for politicos who tell it like it is! Vote Dan Carpenter for 3rd District Supervisor.

“Peterson is a staunch advocate for taxpayers and small business owners.”

Wow that is incorrect. Debbie Peterson has on the Latino Outreach forum and other forums said that she is for the 1/2 cent Self Help County Wide Sales Tax!

She sides with Adam Hill on raising taxes.

The only one is Dan Carpenter that is against the 1/2 cent Self Help County Wide Sales Tax.

Also Debbie believes in removing low cost energy and replace it with the false choice of “Green Energy”. That will add another layer of fees to the public and it is being sold just like the cent Self Help County Wide Sales Tax as a benefit of CHOICE to the voters.

Both are a scam for control over your life and raise taxes until our government rules like the Kings and Queens or a Dictator.

Don’t fall for the free handout and false choices…

Vote for the only real choice if you believe in truth and empowering your citizens to be self starters and responsible citizens while the government takes care of health and safety not putting the “BOOT of GOV” on your throat!

Vote Dan The Man and bubble in Dan Carpenter for 3rd District Supervisor NOW or on June 7.

citygirl, not one of your attempts to dish dirt on Peterson stands up to scrutiny. Just a few examples:

High speed rail has never come up in any public forum, nor has Peterson commented on it.

Pacific Crossing in Grover Beach competes with any fiber optic system in the world and is superior to fiber in Los Angeles or San Francisco.

Debbie has attended nearly all the board of supervisor and planning commission meetings, speaking in many. Where was Dan?

Debbie I was the one who asked about high speed rail, so don’t tell me it never came up at any forum.

Your comments on fiber optic are still incorrect, you are the fastest to Asia and one other country and that was brought up years ago, so get our facts straight.

Oh on the meetings, Dan was probably out talking to the people he represents I still don’t remember seeing you at one. Maybe it was because you did not get up and speak.

Meetings, Patty? You didn’t see Peterson because you weren’t there! But you can make up for that. Watch the videos of the board of supervisor meetings. You’ll see Debbie at most of them, and hear her speak at many of them. It will take you and Dan up to eight hours a week for the next 14 months to catch up.

Nah. A vote for Peterson is a vote for Hill. Peterson needs to put her ego aside and support Dan Carpenter. Carpenter is capable of taking down the fat tub of goo and Hill knows it, hence his attacks on Carpenter.

Vote DAN CARPENTER for District 3 County Supervisor

No truer words are spoken

You have it right. Either we are in this race for EGOs or we are in it to retire Adam Hill and Bruce Gibson?

The hand writing is on the wall

Poll

Adam Hill 22%

Dan Carpenter 18%

Debbie Peterson 13%

Rest Undecided

That means that Adam and Dan face off and Debbie (for her fiscal responsible ways) owes a lot of debt for this campaign.

Vote Dan The Man (Carpenter)

Debbie Peterson fights waste and corruption in an intelligent and resourceful manner. A vote for Peterson is a vote for good governance. Just look at her track record on the Sanitation District board.

She also loses elections…

I think Debbie would be a great supervisor, I just don’t think she beats Ass Hill in November. I think Carpenter does.

I follow what ALL the candidates have said, and been to many forums listening to Debbie and Dan, Adam when he shows up. I am a resident and that is all.

Debbie is in favor of the high speed rail, but you will never hear her say that in public, she skirts the question.

She has residents digging dirt of John Shoals and I have heard her talk about it, and I know some of the people digging. So she is playing games the same as most candidates do, don’t claim to be such a clean candidate.

She claims GB has the fastest fiber optics in the world, not true. It is the fastest from here to two countries, but not the world. So get your facts straight Debbie.

I have watched her at Sanitation meetings and before she ran for supervisor she had some gumption, after she pulled papers that disappeared. So as supervisor who is going to show up?

Debbie states Dan has no skin in the game because he did not put he own money in. He believed he could raise the funds, so he didn’t need to.

Dan has campaigned in South county a good bit, has Debbie gone up to San Luis and gotten her name known there, NO! If you are going to represent people in a geographical area, you ought to get to know ALL the people in it.

Debbie stayed in south county where she feels comfortable. She is not seen at supervisor meetings, and so I wonder how up to date is she with some of the problems?

My ballot has been filled out and Debbie Peterson did not get my vote.

I voted for someone who spoke his mind whether people liked what he had to say or not. He is able to listen to the people and when needed has changed his mine and his vote on items.

Dan Carpenter for supervisor.
