Santa Maria police arrested two juveniles who allegedly robbed a male victim at knifepoint Thursday evening outside the mall.
Shortly after 6 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery near the Town Center Mall. Two suspects had approached a victim and threatened him with a knife.
The suspect with the knife stole the victim’s property, and then both robbers fled by foot, according to the Santa Maria Police Department.
Officers located both suspects several blocks away and arrested them for robbery. Police are withholding the names of the suspects since they are juveniles.
The suspects had several other items that are believed to belong to an additional victim or victims. Investigators are asking anyone who has information that could help identify another victim or victims in the case to call Santa Maria Police Dispatch at (805) 928-3781 ext. 2277.
