Santa Maria police officers on Tuesday arrested a man who allegedly stole $10,000 to $15,000 worth of property during a string of recent burglaries.
Francisco Jacob Campos, a 40-year-old Santa Maria resident, allegedly committed multiple recent burglaries in the 600 block of North Broadway, where the property had been stolen. Officers located Campos in the 1500 block of South Broadway and took him into custody at about 9:30 a.m., according to the Santa Maria Police Department.
Police recovered stolen property, and the investigation resulted in about six additional cases being cleared.
Authorities booked Campos in the Santa Barbara County Northern Branch Jail on burglary, possession of stolen property, vandalism and drug-related charges.
