Vehicles burning at San Luis Obispo water treatment plant

Two vehicles are burning in a fire on Tuesday afternoon at the San Luis Obispo water treatment plant, in an area used for storage.

Shortly after 4:30 p.m., a caller reported a fire burning off the Bob Jones Trail near the intersection of Los Osos Valley Road and Highway 101. Firefighters contained the blaze to an area inside city fencing.

In the area, multiple homeless people have encampments.

It appears the fire was burning at a decommissioned City Utilities facility, once cleaned up and made safe this sounds like a perfect place for a tiny home village, why does the city want to purchase more land when they have decommissioned land available?

They will destroy any “tiny home” they are given. Only money spent on these people should be involuntary rehab confinement
