More than 5,900 PG&E customers lose power on San Luis Obispo

More than 5,900 PG&E customers in San Luis Obispo are without power on Wednesday morning because of two separate outages.

At 6:17 a.m., 5,885 PG&E customers lost power at Cal Poly and surrounding neighborhoods. This is an unplanned outage. PG&E estimates the power will be restored by 8:45 p.m.

At 7:45 a.m., PG&E shut off the power to 92 customers near the intersection of Los Osos Valley Road and Madonna Road for planned maintenance work. PG&E estimates the power will be back on by 4 p.m.
