San Luis Obispo police are investigating an arson fire that allegedly occurred Monday evening near a Tesla charging station at the Madonna Inn.
Shortly after 6 p.m., San Luis Obispo firefighters and police officers responded to a small vegetation fire near the Tesla charging station in the 200 block of Madonna Road. Investigators have identified a suspect in the case, according to the San Luis Obispo Police Department.
The police department says officers would like to speak with Tesla owners who may have witnessed the suspect. The Tesla owners left the area before officers could take their statements.
Investigators ask that witnesses contact Officer Dominguez at (805) 594-8111.
