Memorial set for Anne McMahon

A public celebration of the life of Anne McMahon will take place on Saturday, Jan. 23 at the Santa Margarita Ranch.
The well-known environmental activist and former journalist died last month after battling cancer. Friends and family are invited to gather at 1 p.m.
A potluck meal will be served. Later that afternoon, there will be a second gathering at the Santa Margarita Community Center on “I” Street. Music will be provided by the Up in the Air Band. Organizers also expect at least one conga line to be formed.
