Person hurt in California Valley mobile home fire

A person inside a mobile home in California Valley got out with minor injuries after an electrical problem in the home started a Sunday morning fire.

The blaze completely destroyed the mobile home located in the 14000 block of Cooperopolis. The fire spread to about a quarter acre of grassland before crews from Cal Fire were able to get the blaze under control.

The victim suffered first-degree burns, but refused to be taken to a hospital. Damages are estimated at $30,000.

Heh, “Cooperopolis?” That’s just too good. I once made a “Royville” on some online city-building game years ago… nice to see someone actually does that in the real world!
