July 29, 2011
Police arrested a San Luis Obispo man Thursday for allegedly driving drunk and injuring a pedestrian.
Jeffrey Stein, 29, was driving his pickup truck eastbound on Cerro Romauldo when he struck a parked car, police said. A man loading packages into the passenger side of the car was struck when the car spun counterclockwise.
An ambulance transported the man to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police arrested Stein for felony drunk driving and booked him into San Luis Obispo County Jail with bail set at $100,000.
