San Luis Obispo man Robert Holguin, who at 13 used a skateboard to beat an 87-year-old to death, needed just the approval of Governor Jerry Brown to regain his freedom. [KSBY]

In March, the California Juvenile Parole Review Board found that Holguin, now 22, no longer posed a threat to the public. However, Brown denied Holguin’s release, following threats the prisoner made.

On June 4, 2012, Holguin hacked into a state-owned computer, accessed Brown’s website and sent a threatening email to the governor, according to state and federal investigators.

“check this out you crusty motherfucker i think you suck dick and should burn like my feces in the toilet yo,” Holguin wrote. “i feel you should really eat my dick and eat it over and over again you better hope i never see you i will shoot you with a real gun and my cock. have a nice day and god bless.”

Investigators also searched Holguin’s journal and found references to pistols, rifles, machine guns, explosive and tactical gear. Journal entries also mentioned interests in fame, violence and media violence.

“I find the evidence shows that he currently poses an unreasonable danger to society if released,” Brown wrote in his discharge denial.

In 2005, Holguin broke into the San Luis Obispo trailer of 87-year-old Gerald O’Malley and beat him to death using a skateboard. Holguin then stole O’Malley’s car.

As a child, Holguin was known to have learning difficulties, possibly stemming from brain damage he suffered.

When will Christians within our government start following the Hebrew God’s laws instead of mans? “We ought to obey God rather than men.” (The Apostle Peter, Acts 5:29) I am subjectively so sick and tired of our namby-pamby state government when it comes down to them not following the Hebrew God’s inspired words!

Our state capital should be in Santee, California, where the wonderful “God’s Creation Museum” is located so that it could remind our politicians of who created them 6000 years ago, and it would also remind them in how God expects them to follow His word.

This gutless lily-livered poltroon named Robert Holguin should have been taken care of by God’s edicts post haste when it was determined he was guilty! Besides saving the tax payers money of housing this coward, it would set an example to others kids. Enough!

For you liberal Christians, which is an oxymoron, don’t tell me that Robert was a poor underaged child when he committed this ungodly murder, because the scriptures state with specificity there is no age discrimination in that “Whoever” takes a life is to be put to death, period!

“Whoever takes a human life shall surely be put to death.” (Leviticus 24:17)

“Whoever strikes a man so that he dies shall be put to death.” (Exodus 21:12)

“Moreover, you shall accept no ransom for the life of a murderer, who is guilty of death, but he shall be put to death.” (Numbers 35:31)

“Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image.” (Genesis 9:6)

Jesus’ time had it right, kill the lowlife post haste and then have some wine and relax knowing that you pleased your God in following His orders, praise!

Ted, I don’t recall Jesus asking for a death and then celebrating with wine. Please enlighten me

BCP,

I am told that the memory is the second thing that goes. BCP, I am so sorry. I have quoted the following passages within threads that you were present within many times.

Once again, to wit: Jesus stated; “But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.” (Luke 19:27) Parable or not, this passage is attributed to our ever loving and forgiving Jesus, and is relative to His 2nd Coming, 2015 years and counting thus far, but who’s counting anymore, right?

Then we have our Jesus specifically stating:  “Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I WILL KILL HER CHILDREN WITH DEATH, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.” (Revelation 2: 22-23)

Then if we assume that Jesus is God, as many divisions of Christianity believe, then there is a myriad of instances where Jesus, as God, asks and/or commands death in the Old Testament writings. They are too numerous to mention herewith.

If you really think about it, our Jesus is a chip off the ol’ block like His serial killing Father was in the Old Testament. As I’ve stated before, true Christianity is not for milquetoasts!

In the celebrating with wine statement, it was a generalization and I was using it in conjunction with how we Christians someday will “party on” when Jesus returns and slays everyone with 2 million angels that didn’t want Him as their Savior, thats all.

Remember, Jesus’ loving nature will have people killed by fire, plagues, and beasts. There will be dead bodies rotting and unburied everywhere. Those that are not killed by Jesus will “rejoice over them and make merry, and shall send gifts to one another.” (Rev.11:5-10) The terms “rejoice” and “make merry” refer to a party, and obviously the wine will be flowing, get it now!

Not my interpretation, but some would take you to task….

BCP,

The true Christian has to laugh at your statement of; “its not my interpretation,” meaning there’re other ways to interpret this passage as well. What God’s inspired word said once, He didn’t mean for his creation to take it in many different and contradicting ways. Get it? A shameful act to God’s direct and literal words!

“Knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation.” (2 Peter 1:20)

To the pseudo-christian, all disturbing verses in the bible have to be taken out of context to save face going into the 21st Century. But, this is a dangerous slippery slope to be on with tremendous ramifications, essentially opening a can of worms that derails the entire bible into a book of fairytales.

Time and topic subject of this thread doesn’t allow me to explain this logical factoid to you. The impetus of this ungodly tactic though is what you’ve shown us in that Apologetics is used to try in vain to explain said passage away from its historical history and intent.

BCP, you are guilty of the following passages, to wit: “And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the words of prophecy written in this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book.” (Revelation 22: 18)

“Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” (2 Peter 1:20-21)

BCP, always remember this godly inspired passage relative to the Satanic art of Apologetics, of which it tries in vain to anachronistically rewrite the scriptures: “For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.” (2 Timothy 4: 3)

Side-note, you remained silent upon Revelation 2: 22-23, it doesn’t matter because this passage falls under the above biblical and logical protocols as well.

Like I keep saying, true Christianity is NOT for wussies, amen!

“Fire up Ol’ Sparky”

(Pelican 20:14)

Pelican,

Yeah, if it was good enough back then in this Christian Nation, then why wouldn’t it be now? Good point.

Can’t a sociopath have a little fun?

When released, does this mean he will come back home to San Luis Obispo?

I don’t see what the uproar is all about. The board said he was good to go. State and Federal agencies don’t make mistakes. Do they?

Yeah, if he was given the green light, who are we to second-guess the “experts” and people with letters after their name?

The wrong part of this is it seems without the guy sending an email to Gov. Brown he likely would be getting out and Gov. Brown would not have stopped his release, and given the nature of the crime this guy should never get out.

Wow…and I thought my emails to Moonbeam were bad…

that”s good for now, but doesn’t he walk at age 25 no matter what or can they try him for the threat and retain him?

Looks like a little incompetence on the part of the California Juvenile Parole Review Board. Maybe a little more care and diligence should go into these recommendations or some accountability be assigned to the people making these decisions.

He obviously wasn’t a juvenile, but if Rex Allan Krebs hadn’s of been paroled in 1997 after serving 10 years of a 20-year sentence for 2 violent rape-sodomy attacks, 2 young girls would be alive today.

A little incompetence? The entire JPRW should be replaced on grounds of dereliction of duty,

You can easily say that about pretty much every agency at all levels… just sayin’…

Expressly, no comment.
