On Monday, the SLO Solidarity sent a list of 41 demands to Cal Poly administrators. Group organizer Matt Klepfer received a death threat on Tuesday, Klepfer said.

University police are investigating the threat and searching for the person who sent it. Both police and Dean of Students Jean DeCoasta have been in contact with Klepfer.

In response to the death threat, about 100 members of SLO Solidarity demonstrated on campus Wednesday. The group plans to march again on Thursday at 11 a.m. The march will begin at the Kennedy Library.

Sudent Colleen Mayone said it is time that minorities on campus stood up and did something and that it is easy for privileged people on campus to ignore the issue.

Cal Poly administrators say they will propose policy changes before the current quarter ends later this month.

UC Santa Cruz is to the north. They might more willing to accommodate your dreams of transvestite crappers and dorms plus homosexual and sexism studies.

Please be gone.

Well, after all they are known as the Banana Slugs.

“They also demand an implementation of a queer studies minor and a women’s, gender and queers studies major as well as a first-year seminar focused on topic areas related to gender, race, sexuality and culture.” QUEER STUDIES MAJOR???? Really? I must be getting old.

Gender spectrum identity disorder

This generation don’t even now their gender must less what life is really like. Crazy times we live in for sure!

So how many students does Cal Poly have? I think it is somewhere around 15,000 and how many are behind this SLO Solidarity group, maybe 200. Go back to class and stop your whining. You will learn more by accepting that not everything in life is perfect and the world is not molded to fit the whiny needs of the few, but rather the needs of the majority.

SLO Solidarity sent a list of 41 demands What a privileged group !! Please do tell whats on that list !!

I’ll take a stab at a few: Safe

zones where free speech cannot be exercised and feelings cannot be hurt.

Banning all behavior and activity deemed offensive and not promoting diversity (except under age drinking and sexual assault of females of course).

Banning poor grades as the self esteem of students could be adversely affected.

Mandating additional diversity training for all white males over age 35.

Update your photo: San Luis Obispo hasn’t looked that nice in years.

80% chance they fabricated their own “death threat” for attention.

100% agree.

I don’t know about these kids, but it does seem like false flags are becoming more and more popular. It’s getting to the point where i don’t trust anyone or any official story.

Makes you wonder who is organizing these fools to whine about problems that don’t exist and eventually enter the real world 100% unprepared.

Meanwhile as he is writing his nonsense letters, 14 people lost their lives yesterday. Grow up son.

If they can’t survive without getting their feelings hurt in a liberal utopia like a University, how are they going to make it in the real world?

i highly doubt that. it is a very well known ploy to fabricate things to draw attention to a cause. you doubt my thought process? go to team adam shill’s fb page and you will see him mentioning this as well. FARCE.

You left out 90% of the story. What are the demands? What is the problem they are addressing? I repeatedly seems to me that these type students want faculty to change how these students treat each other–kind of a projection thing–going after the wrong target because that target is easier.

And the only story I can recall hearing about Cal Poly minorities were some very spoiled and uncivilized children on football scholarships (who probably were not otherwise college material) who thought it was appropriate to rob a fraternity at gun point for some marijuana. Those minorities didn’t seem to be disadvantaged to me and didn’t seem to have any appreciation for how ridiculously privileged they were.

OK. But you leaved out the part about the white blond fraternity president who was dealing drugs out of the frat house. Perhaps they were just playing Robin Hood, stealing from the rich to help the poor? Who knows. It’s really amazing how a dark skinned face can get some people’s thought process totally off track. It’s called bigotry, folks.

OK. But you leaved out the part about the white blond fraternity president who was dealing drugs out of the frat house.

Hijinks, why would it be relevant, let alone bigotry, to not identify the victim of a violent crime as being white with blond hair?

It appears you are trying to claim racism by me against minorities because I didn’t identify that the victim of a violent crime was white. (When, in fact, I didn’t know he was white and I sure as heck couldn’t care less about his hair color.)

Are you a member of SLO solidarity? That might explain a lot.

Here is a link to the demands. The article outlines some of the demands, but if you scroll down you can see the full list.

Ridiculous. “All Gender” bathrooms? Good grief. Weirdos. Good-bye, Golden State.

Just read the list. Talk about a bunch of crap. Wake up kids. Life is not fair, equal and nice all the time. You are all privileged students, going to a wonderful school at the expense of the taxpayers of the State of California, taught by qualified/dedicated instructors, on a first class campus, and giving you an opportunity as a graduate of Cal Poly to make a very sucessfuil life for yourself. Just grown up, endure, graduate and move on!
