Kayaks stuck in Morro Bay Estuary
A man in his 50s was pronounced dead Saturday morning after his body was found in the water near Morro Rock. Morro Bay police said the death does not appear to be suspicious.
Shortly before 9 a.m., Morro Bay police responded to a call about a possible dead body floating in the bay. Firefighters and Harbor Patrol personnel helped officers recover the body.
Police officials plan to release more information about the case at a later time. A suspicious death investigation is ongoing.
