SLO County Supervisor Adam Hill is the real toxin

The San Luis Obispo County  Board of Supervisors’ comments on Administrator Dan Buckshi’s announcement that he was resigning to take the city manager position in Walnut Creek should come as no surprise. Chairman John Peschong, and supervisors Debbie Arnold and Lynn Compton were gracious in their remarks about Buckshi and wished him well.

But leave it to Adam Hill to turn Buckshi’s good news into another opportunity to spew his vitriol at those he opposes.

For the most toxic supervisor to blame the “toxic majority” of the board for Buckshi’s decision is laughable. Buckshi apparently applied for his new job last fall before Peschong was elected, well before the new board majority started flexing its muscles, thereby incurring the wrath of Adam Hill.

While Buckshi is moving on to a “greener pasture” with a higher paying position and greater benefits, leave it to Hill to cheapen his announcement by shrouding it in a bilious rant of negativity. Adam’s  refusal to see that his own constant toxicity might have had something to do with Buckshi’s decision is to be expected.

The board now faces both a tremendous challenge and a great opportunity in filling two key positions in the county. Finding the right talented professionals to fill the county administrator and the planning director positions will be no small task. Having such a shrill misogynist and nabob of negativity like Adam Hill on the board won’t make that task any easier.

That the pendulum has swung away from Hill’s machine politics is obviously frustrating to him. But his latest childish antics only aid and abet that swing.

Let’s trust Peschong, Arnold, and Compton to do the right thing in filling these positions, despite Hill’s wingnut protestations.

Meanwhile, best of luck Dan Buckshi, and may you never have to listen to Adam Hill again!

OK….so it has been determined through scientific testing and analysis that Adam is considered to be a toxic waste.

Accordingly, he should marked with the following label:

WARNING This supervisor contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause political cancer.

OK, I got it now. Hill: toxic; COLAB: the greatest thing since sliced bread! Get real; all these county government people in positions of power pretty much suck, along with all the other power brokers in the county. Welcome to SLO county government.

There is no mention in my piece about COLAB. You’re reading way too much into it. Get real!

Hill’s commentary is truly misogynist, sexist and demeaning towards the two women serving on the BOS. Why district 3 re-elected him is very strange, since it’s very liberal and shouldn’t tolerate this kind of thing. But the alt left always forgives their own fellow travelers… for their own indiscretions. Maybe Debbie and Lynn should be more submissive towards the men on the BOS. Just thinkin!

Hill had the cojones to have an opinion in the bird cage liner, today’s paper, what a whiner, doesn’t he understand that all the garbage he spews makes him look worse and worse all the time, he just don’t get it.

Respectfully, I do not know Adam Hill. Given he is as bad as citizens say, then he derives the adage that there are more horses asses than horses, an indictment against those who elected him into office as SLO Supervisor.

Just so the current board knows….

…I’ll take either job.

It’s been obvious for too long, that the non-local “professionals” they have hired, have brought with them the preconceived notion, that this city and county want to be just like the LA basin.

Being a native son, I know what SLO city and county are about, and I’ll do my best to conserve the best of each, while stopping more of the erasing of SLO history, destruction of farm and ranch lands, and the growth of ugly sprawl that is consuming water and land resources the county cannot afford.

Vote for Dave.

Who’s Dave?

Knock knock, Dave’s not here.

Well said Keith.

Trump, Hill, Gibson…three peas from the same pod of arrogant and incompetent fools. SLO County has a culture where these types thrive.

What a nightmare. A bad dream we can’t wake up from.

While Adam Hill is clearly a drain on morale, Bruce Gibson is complicit as well. These two Supervisors have been whining ever since Peshong took his seat.

The first thing Gibson claimed was no way could a freshman supervisor assume the chairpersons role. Peshong has been professional and polite in that role. Then, Gibson suggested the freshmen supervisor could in no way be the boards representative at CSAC — another Gibson prognostication that was false.

Simply put, Gibson is the smarter of the two whiners. Buckshi probably had had enough.
