DA Dan Dow fails to promote justice, supports cronyism

District Attorney Dan Dow

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, then how much is smoking gun video evidence worth proving San Luis Obispo’s District Attorney Dan Dow’s gross negligence of duty for refusing to file criminal complaints on certain Atascadero police officers and other Atascadero city employees for their criminal activity and violations of law and civil rights.

That’s right, Dan Dow’s office was given HD videos of criminal activity and civil rights violations and refused to investigate or file criminal complaints against the alleged parties – his buddies in blue and other Atascadero city employees.

The citizens should know that the city of Atascadero paid myself and another man in Dec. 2017 on one claim and face another lawsuit for civil rights violations incurred when a senior Atascadero police officer violated the law and my civil rights telling me that it was illegal for me to film in Atascadero City Hall and I would be arrested if I attempted to do so.

My story starts many years ago (and continues even today) when I learned first hand how negligent and flat out corrupt the Atascadero police department and San Luis Obispo’s District Attorneys offices were and still are!

But this article is not about me, it’s about my allegation of gross and criminal negligence of District Attorney Dan Dow, his cronies and puppet masters.

My allegations against Dan Dow are as follows:

1. Dan Dow accepted and knowingly filed false and misleading documents with the SLO County Superior Court. I was arrested for the crime of PC69 (physically stopping and threatening an officer from doing his job) against Commander Joe Allen, a man I had never met before. I want everyone to know that I was in New Orleans at the time. My bail was set at $100,000 thousand dollars, the normal bail amount for this alleged crime is $25,000 dollars. Why was my bail so high?

2. Dan Dow filed another criminal complaint with the court and sent the “Request to Appear” to a false address, intentionally, to cause grave economic harm as a warrant was issued for my arrest for $40,000 dollars. The judge rescinded the bail and allowed me to remain out of custody on my own recognizance after reviewing all the evidence presented.

3. Dan Dow did not like that I settled a recent civil matter so he filed an additional criminal complaint against me in a case with no victims or monetary loss to any party, further wasting judicial resources, time and tax payers money. This is a perfect example of Dan Dow’s “fair and the honest” judicial approach he likes to spew in his rhetoric for re-election.

4. Dan Dow abuses his position as district attorney for personal gain and agenda at the taxpayer expense.

5. Dan Dow goes after the homeless, the indigent, cannabis users and mentally ill but continually refuses to file criminal complaints against his “buddies in blue” and other government employees.

6. Dan Dow is a “yes man” and will file anything his buddies in blue, cronies or puppet masters tell him to file.

A civilized society needs laws and as such we need law enforcement. We, the people give individuals (law enforcement) the power to enforce those laws but we did not give them the power to act illegally, criminally or for personal agendas.

The very thread of society is the fact that we the people have a process to bring grievance against our state and federal government or elected officials without fear of retribution.

San Luis Obispo County District Attorney Dan Dow is an elected official who abuses the power of his office to selectively enforce and harass anyone he so chooses.

On June 5, lets send a message to Dan Dow (and others) in San Luis Obispo County governments that we, the citizens will no longer except this type of behavior from our elected officials and leaders, period.

Vote for Judge Mike Cummins on June 5 and lets make 2018 the year of the citizen.

Rick Holiday has lived in San Luis Obispo County for more than 30 years.

In lies the real problem with digital media. You can’t even use an article like this to line a bird cage.

Read up on you Mr. Holiday, and it sounds like you give just as good as you get…

Lot of folks out there that claim you’re a con-man, lot of folks with judgements against you, lots and lots of garbage being said about you, your businesses and your business partners and this goes back years. While I sympathize with anyone having difficulties with our justice system it appears your problems are mostly self-induced…

Mr. Holliday, did you sign a non disclosure agreement when you settled with the city?

If so, you should review the terms because you may be violating the agreement which would require you pay back the settlement to the city.

Yes, and Morro Bay fired their attorney, city manager and got a new Police chief. Further, the way citizens can file claims against the city has been changed for the better but spew your B.S. while the rest of us work on making this a better place for the citizen.

RUKIDDING and PI-ON, I would be happy to point all of you to the truth.

1. Google Atascadero Corruption or YouTube and read about the channel.

2. Watch the video’s.

3. Ask the City Manager of Atascadero why they paid myself and another individual on a civil rights claim in December of 2017.

4. All of my court cases are public record and pay close attention to the fact that I was released on O.R. by the Judge and my bail was rescinded because the D.A. knowingly and with malice of intent, sent my notice to appear to a non-exsistent address, Dan Dow still cost me $4,000 that day!

5. Ask Dan Dow why he filed a complaint on me for a matter that had already been settled ? In fact there are no victims, no property at issue or money owed either party. Dan did not like that it settled so he abused the privilege of his office and filed a complaint for grand theft. This matter was settled in mediation and Dan is wasting the taxpayers money and judicial resources. Perhaps the citizens should get a release from the District Attorneys office before settling all civil matters the future.

I have personally worked with the District Attorneys office in the past and they found me and my evidence credible in the Cambria Air Force asbestos case against Luther Ackers and Bernd Schaefer’s as did the F.B.I., Air Pollution Control, The Health Department and others. And when your all caught up with all that….I’ll give you lots more!

So, you are accused of stealing from folks and admit to helping out the DA? You had better hope you stay out of jail REH, you’d be a prime candidate for a beat down or two for your self admitted “RAT” status.

Interesting timing for this to come out against the DA just before the election. I believe I remember this mr. holiday from when he was in Morro Bay creating havoc for the local police department there. He was running around videoing everybody and making accusations against them violating his rights. Always more to the story.

Under Dan Dow, the DA’s office over charges people so they settle out of fear. While they throw the book at non-connected people, law enforcement have crimes like DUIs white washed. Crimes against people Dow does not care for are ignored. His coworker Tracy Nix commits perjury, but he covers for his buddy. It is time for justice for all in SLO County.

What cases can you cite to prove your assertions? Honest question.

Mr. Holiday please tell us why you had contact with the Atascadero PD in the first place? There must be more to this story and you should tell us what the Atascadero PD was investigating you for? The city of Atascadero should also be transparent with this case and reveal what they were investigating, the legal costs (taxpayers money) that was incurred by the city to investigate, pursue and apparently settled for some financial amount. Most people will be horrified when and if they find out what these costs were.

I’m wondering this as well. Mr. Holiday sounds like he has a chip on his shoulder. Maybe he does have a real complaint-I’d like to know more.

are you not the same individual that was trying to film MORRO BAY PD , sounds like you have a problem with our men in blue .
