San Luis Obispo County Supervisor Adam Hill’s administrative assistant accused the supervisor of sexual misconduct shortly before he committed suicide on Aug. 6, according to multiple sources aware of the allegations.

Nicole Nix took over as Hill’s administrative assistant several years ago, after a previous assistant accused Hill of harassment, according to county sources. Hill and Nix regularly left work together, often driving in the same car.

Last year, a neighbor provided photos of Hill’s car parked throughout the night at Nix’s home. Hill did not respond to questions about allegations he was dating Nix, and why he often stayed overnight at her home.

County administrators are investigating the allegations, which could lead to a financial settlement for Nix. Aside from a press release, the county is not planning on releasing any further information about the allegations at this time.

“The county treats allegations of workplace misconduct very seriously,” according to the county press release. “We can confirm that allegations of workplace misconduct were made against Supervisor Adam Hill prior to his passing, and the county immediately initiated a formal investigation.”

Adam Hill’s estate should pay why do we the taxpayer have to pay for this?

Ahhh, I’ll wait to see if the Trib puts this on like they did earlier about how wonderful hill was, I believe there were two articles on him by the editors.

She should contact James McKiernan Lawyers who has the largest settlement on record against the county for sexual harassment by several of their employees.

What an icky situation. Financially, ethically, politically, morally just icky all-around.

The County will prove responsible for allowing many of Hill’s longtime, ongoing, crimes and abuses. Karen and Dan immediately come to mind.

Much more surely to come. Let the drumbeat begin to unveil the truth. Does it seem a bit familiar? Supervisor Bruce Gibson, Hill’s buddy, had an affair with his aide a few years ago that led to divorcing his wife and marrying his aide who apparently still works in that position. Taking “workplace misconduct” seriously? Give me a break!

I’m dying to ask what position she is in but, that will bring out the jokesters! :)

Finally more facts are coming out, as I have been contacted by Investigators about this and other incidents of Sexual Misconduct by County Employees, I emailed both Nicole and Bruce G. about the contacts i have had, apparently County Counsel Rita Neal was very aware of this as she confronted Adam. Then shortly there after Adam passed away as Ms. Neal apparently told Adam this may have to come out if the county settles with a monetary settlement.

Investigators were also interested in certain other local political officials about Money Laundering, illicit campaign donations in Cash not reported to the FPPC , donations to open and operate certain ” Dispensaries ” permits to be OK by members of SLO City Council members and County officials now that the FBI and others are looking into many local irregularities someone may be indicted this year.

There in the past few weeks have been some people involved in this business were also found “Deceased” in SLO allegedly of an O.D. still under Investigation by SLOPD, were they did a ” Surveillance” on one of the deceased homes off of Broad behind Staples only problem was the “subjects” knew of the Surveillance and even did a counter surveillance on them. ” Suicide” can be made to appear like it was a “Suicide” in lieu of a Murder.

I suspect the County will make a quick settlement soon before more allegations come forth, and expose other issues in the local Government misbehavior.

Good thing the Pismo Preserve hasn’t been renamed quite yet.
