Gas prices rise in San Luis Obispo County, find lowest costs

While the average price for gas fell in the United States, in California and San Luis Obispo County prices continued to increase last week, according to AAA. SLO County gas prices jumped four cents to $5.90 a gallon.
At $5.73, the average price for a gallon of gas is currently 17 cents less in Santa Barbara County.
In California, the average price for a gallon of gas rose seven cents to $5.68 last week. Nationally, gas prices dropped two cents to $4.07 a gallon.
SLO County currently has the sixth highest price for gas in the state. Listing the highest average price, Mono County’s price for a gallon of regular gasoline this week is $6.81. Yuba County boasts the lowest average cost at $5.33 a gallon.
