Benefit dinner for Pastor Doug, event photos
August 24, 2010
You could certainly feel the love in the room last Sunday night when Ian McPhee turned over his popular Templeton restaurant to the many friends of “Pastor Doug” Carroll of San Luis Obispo.
Doug is fighting primary progressive MS and has been hit with a series of stiff medical bills this summer, including the need for a new motorized wheelchair. The five-course dinner at McPhee’s was hosted by KVEC radio host (and CCN Contributing Editor) Dave Congalton to help Doug and his wife Victoria raised the needed funds.
Doug was unable to attend, but more than 140 people came together and celebrated a most unique individual who remains an inspiration to us all.
