During a protest against President Donald Trump in Sacramento County on Tuesday, two activists left the demonstration in ambulances following separate incidents involving vehicles, one of which consisted of an activist falling off the top of a moving CHP patrol car.

While on a West Coast trip, Trump flew into Sacramento McClellan Airport. Both supporters of the president and anti-Trump protesters gathered Tuesday morning near the airport in the community of McClellan Park.

Confrontations between the two sides occurred, but initially, no violence broke out.

Anti-Trump protesters then marched through the streets of McClellan Park. During the march, at least three collisions between vehicles and protesters occurred.

First, a Volvo station wagon collided with demonstrators. A window of the Volvo was smashed, and one protester was taken away in an ambulance following the incident.

Then, a Ford pickup truck drove through a crowd of demonstrators in the middle of the street. Protesters kicked the truck and appeared to jump on the side or back of the vehicle. It is unclear whether anyone suffered injuries.

Later, a group of protesters surrounded a CHP cruiser in an intersection. One protester jumped on top of the hood of the CHP vehicle. He then crawled onto the roof of the car as the officer was beginning to drive away.

As the officer drove away, the protester fell off the vehicle, landed on the street and suffered injuries. An ambulance transported the injured protester to the hospital.

The extent of the protesters’ injuries is unclear.

There are officers who treat the poor and those different then them poorly. We have rules about wearing cameras and transparency that are not followed and should be strengthened to weed out the bad cops. DAs need to stop fighting to hide evidence, and fight for justice.

But these protesters do not want to treat all with respect and decency. If you do not have the same views as them, they claim you are a racist and attempt to block your freedoms. They try to destroy property and have no respect for the law. These protesters yell that others are hurting them when they are the aggressors. I can see them punching a spouse and blaming them for making them do it.

I bet they could not tell you what the golden rule is.

“I bet they could not tell you what the golden rule is.”

He who has the gold makes the rules.

Good. Glad to hear it. You keep playing with fire, your going to get burned. You want to stand on the sidewalk and protest fine. You move into the street then cause problems and threaten people in the vehicles you are at fault if you become injured.

OMG is right! What an idiot! man vs car? What a dumb thing to do. ITs his fault. The cop was warning to get out of the way. And what, He thought he could win? Just dumb. Then you see that other dumb kid actually kick the cop car?

I agree we need to vet our cops better. But still the Good ones deserve respect. Despite the unethical, dirty cops in this county that deserve to be let go, We need the police.

Maybe we should be demanding a Federally mandated Vetting system for all police? They must learn to de-escalate, and strickly abide by the oath or face dismissal. 100% Transparancy! There should be an annual review by an outside org. making sure they maintain their oath. OR has the BLM already determined guidelines? Cause it can’t be just get rid of all the Police!

And the NBA has BLM plastered all over their courts and uniforms….even after two deputies were shot….don’t these people in the street and in the NBA see the kind of lunatics they are supporting?…..

No, they don’t. And they don’t give a damn either- that’s the whole point.

But they were, “mostly peaceful protestors…”

Slosum

Memo to self. Don’t jump on a law enforcement vehicle. And for that matter, don’t resist them, accost them or shoot at them. It never ends well.

Man versus Car usually has a predictable outcome. Anyone who is not a nimrod understands that.
