San Luis Obispo County election’s office is slowest in the state

The San Luis Obispo County election’s office led the state Thursday in uncounted ballots with 4,654 of 96,488 ballots cast still to count. Statewide, there are 13,636 ballots left to count, according to the California Secretary of State.

Ranking second slowest is Riverside County with 2,200 ballots uncounted of 546,592 ballots cast. Of California’s 58 counties, only 15 have not yet counted all of their ballots.

At the end of the 2022 ballot count, SLO County was the second slowest in the state to finish counting.

SLO County Clerk-Recorder Elaina Cano has claimed the lengthy canvas is “a testament to the meticulous and essential work happening behind the scenes.”

California county election officials have 30 days to count every valid ballot, audit and certify their work – known as the official canvas.

And of course Ms. ‘Meticulous’ Cano won re-election easily. And Mr. ‘Creepy Smile’ Dantona. What in the world is wrong with the voters in this county? Or what is wrong with the people counting the votes?

Watch for the next ploy in this digital world….the proposal, which will come from the left, to only do online, internet voting to “make things faster”, using individual credentials. They will claim “fake-proof, more secure, instant results, low cost, etc”. But the anonymity will be gone forever. It’s coming. Beware.

The worst county in the worst state for honest, timely election results. All because California refuses obvious, common sense, election integrity safeguards used by pretty much every honest governments, everywhere. Utterly disgraceful.

Both legal, and illegal immigrants, vote for freebies. They vote for candidates with a (D). That’s why lefties will die on this issue. They love power, and needy immigrants love freebies. That is why our Federal Government must come in and clean up California elections.

This is the most airhead, empty statement she could have made. I don’t necessarily believe there is fraud but just do your job in a timely manner. You’re collecting $170,000 + tax dollars per year as compensation as of 2022. We expect you to be better.

Try $255,690 as of 2025, she should be embarrassed by being the slowest in the state.
