Photos / Avila Beach Fish and Farmer's Market 80

By Aimee Vasquez   Flooded by sunlight and in constant view of the sea, this week's Fish and Farmer's Market at Avila Beach was a whirl of fresh berries, roasted corn, and live music with an easygoing vibe.

Popular among locals and out-of-towners alike, the market makes for a vibrant way to spend a Friday afternoon — and still have time for the beach a scant stone's throw away. Touted for its fresh seafood and local produce, wares also included olive oil, herbs, honey, vinegars, sauces, handmade dog 'Sc-arfs' and a myriad of flowers. An elephant-shaped bounce-house and soft rock by Matt Cross and the One Night Band completed the scene.
