Approved by the city planning commission last December, the new In-N-Out restaurant will occupy space near the old Sizzler on W. Branch Street, near the Regal Cinemas. The Sizzler building will be demolished and In-N-Out plans to build a 3,265-square-foot facility, including an outdoor patio with ten tables.
Arroyo Grande Planning Manager Jim Bergman expects to receive formal building plans by the end of May, with the restaurant likely to open in either November or December.
There are currently In-N-Out restaurants locally in Atascadero and Santa Maria.
