Felony DUI crash injures woman in SLO

A 26-year-old man is accused of crashing his vehicle into two cars and seriously injuring a woman while driving under the influence Tuesday morning in San Luis Obispo. [KCOY]

Ryan Carvalho crossed a double yellow line and plowed into two cars on Los Osos Valley Road around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash caused a 61-year-old Los Osos woman to suffer a broken leg and broken rib.

Officers charged Carvalho with felony driving under the influence and booked him in San Luis Obispo County Jail.

A broken leg and rib at 30 is bad enough but at 61 it’s a long road to recover.

Hmm, this scumbag has a facebook page with numerous photos of him drinking alcohol and his profile picture is the joker drinking an alcoholic beverage? Yeah, I think anyone could see that a DUI was in his future:

Well, the Facebook page now gone. How could he be intoxicated at 7:30 AM. Talk about having a problem… Bet ya he has no insurance, bet you!

Don’t worry, I saved a screenshot of his facebook page earlier and already forwarded it to the DA. I hope they use it to nail this b*stard to the wall. Drunk at 7:30am??? He could have killed that poor woman.

Good thinking on the screenshot! But he could have killed someone at 7:30 pm just as easily as 7:30 am. I suspect that they will get him pretty well though unless he has a real top attorney. Pity that the lawyer who killed someone a few years back on LOVR while DUI didn’t get that kind of treatment too.
