On July 3, investigators searched an apartment located on the 5000  block of Capistrano Avenue and discovered a honey oil lab. They found 10.7 grams of honey oil, 10.6 grams of the drug methylone, 54.6 grams of heroin and more than 238 grams of marijuana.

The heroin had a street value of approximately $11,000. Detectives arrested Blake William Owen, 23, for manufacturing a controlled substance and for possession of controlled substances for sale.

Since drug dealing is an all cash business, it makes me wonder if either or both of these guys is living on public assistance (welfare, food stamps, etch..). Wouldn’t it be nice to know that the taxpayer is paying for thei chemistry labs.

Sentence them to life in Colorado. They will fit in nicely.

Thanks to the Deputies for helping us eradicate this trash.

Not to nitpick, but “The search netted 4.6 grams of heroin….a street value of about $8,800 in cash.

…54.6 grams of heroin … a street value of approximately $11,000.”

So some heroin is $1,913 per gram and other heroin is $201 per gram?
