With a longboard surf contest, free concert on the beach and vintage VW car show, the Waves, Wine and Beyond’s culminating event May 3 is a must attend event.

Watch professional surfers battle giant waves while you “sip and sit” warm and dry on Pismo Beach. Heats begin at 7 a.m.

Kick your shoes off, or more, and rock to the sounds of Resination and Joe Koenig at a free concert on the beach in front of Pismo Beach’s Sea Venture Hotel from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Outdated cars and screaming music of the second poorest genre. Won’t be spending my cash at that beach this weekend.


But give CCN a break on the rah rahs. It’s a nice occasonal break from the serious issues, investigative work, and the opinion pieces.
