California man allegedly murdered his son, for being gay

The Los Angeles County Superior Court charged Shehada Issa, 69, on Friday in the premeditated murder of his 29-year-old son Amir Issa , according to a Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office statement. It is suspected that Shehada Issa killed his son because he was gay.

Issa, who is being held without bail, faces life in prison without parole if he is convicted.

On March 29, police found the body of Shehada Issa’s son Amir Issa outside of the family’s house in North Hills. North Hills is located about 125 miles south of San Luis Obispo County.

When officers searched inside the home, they found the body of Rabihah Issa, Shehada Issa’s wife. An investigation into Rabihah Issa’s death is ongoing.

In the past, Shehada Issa had threatened to kill his son because of his sexual orientation, according to the district attorney’s statement.

Two weeks ago, Amir Issa posted the following statement on Facebook:

“Every day I wake up feeling like my sister or brother or mother or father is literally controlling me in my sleep. I have no free will.the moment I lose consciousness it feels like they tell people to rape and molest me and make it seem like I enjoy that. I was earning over $100k by age 26 and this has negatively impacted my life made ,me live in pain and become unemployed. If there is a devil or evil spirit, I truly believe it manifests itself in my family. My name is Prince Christ. Amir Issa. Does it make you feel better abiut yourself to call me names and control me? I dont want to be related to any of these people..nor their relatives watching and advocating this inhumane treatment. They have literally robbed my bank account, lied to courts and doctor to try and label me as mentally ill and failed in their attempts to have me falsely imprisoned and evicted. My doctors certified that i have no mental illness and the courts have cleared my good name and I do not have a criminal record. I successfully passed a background check. If there are any good people on this earth, please help free me from this inhumane slavery. I want to open my eyes lord. I want to see Jesus. Please help rid this world of the demons that attack me. I have changed all of my life insurance and work retirement investments to go to the church I was born in, the Seventh day adventist church of glendale. I dont believe one religion is better or more true than another but would like to have a family that attends church regularly and doesnt punish my thoughts or actions if I am a good persob…which I know I am. I am paying it forward to the church..tithing over hundreds of thousands of dollars to them for this life and the next. In Christs name. AMEN.”

Shehada Issa is scheduled for an April 11 arraignment.

The Father was a devout Muslim and believed in the sharia law therefore the gay son was disobeying the sharia law and had to be terminated, the sharia law is the rule of the faith and if you don’t obey the faith you will die. he killed his wife then killed his son, the reason the wife is dead is because she was protecting her only child.

From what I’ve gathered from various news sources, the parents were Christians, not Muslim. I still contend that religion and sexual orientation had nothing to do with this murder.

Far more likely to die from a Christian than a Muslim? Please back that with some statistics. Every day Muslims murder other Muslims and Christians.


Not all Muslims are terrorists. But all terrorists are Muslim. I have seen these people first hand in war. They are animals who teach their children to kill without remorse.

I think the DA jumped the gun on this one saying it was because the son was gay. According to the LA Times article linked in Citizen’s post, it sounds like there was a lot more tension in this family than just that. The son had a history of violence, drugs and mental illness.

The key to this tragedy is who killed the mother. If the son stabbed the mother to death and the father then shot his son, the motive likely was not that the son was gay. To anyone, this is a very sad ending of a life that was to be lived to it’s fullest extent while on this earth, but Amir Issa was allegedly killed by his father, who seemingly followed the Judeo-Christian bible’s word relative to God’s will that all gays should be put to death.


“For this cause God gave them up into vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet . . . Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them” (Romans 1:26-27)


Who knowing the judgment of God” is regarding Leviticus 20:13; “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them” (Leviticus 20:13) The term “their blood shall be upon them” is the literal killing of gays in the same vein of women of marriage that were not virgins upon their wedding night. (Deut. 22:13-21)


True Christians, we have to accept the biblical fact that these verses relative to the death of the homosexual is sanctioned by our Hebrew Christian God named Yahweh. There is absolutely no need for the insidious use of apologetic “interpretation” to the “literal” passages herein that were written in the Bronze Age, where in addition too, it was thought that the earth was flat. (Revelation 7:1)


Unfortunately for our Christian faith, this biblical axiom of what our Yahweh God proposes relative to the death of gays, is one of many reasons people are leaving our Bronze Age Christianity in the 21st century and leaving it behind with the many other gods of the biblical era.

Reads like he might have been murdered for being a Christian.

It can also read like he knew an altercation was coming and was setting this all up to look like he was the martyr. It’s all internet nonsense at this point but it sounds like the father and son had a history of animosity that revolved more around the son’s drug use and unwillingness to move out of the house than it did around his sexual orientation or religious affiliation. But, like someone else said, the identity of the mother’s killer will tel us a lot more about why the son was killed.

A (possibly) homosexual individual of Middle Eastern extraction who attends/attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church and likely dealt drugs ($100K/year at age 26.) This poor soul was a train wreck waiting to happen.
