Melquiedes Anastacio Rodriguez

Witnesses spotted two men tagging the cars of a train that was stopped in San Luis Obispo on Sunday.

Shortly after 1 p.m., the San Luis Obispo Police Department sent officers to the area of the railroad tracks near Industrial Way. Officers arrived to find two male suspects spray painting the cars of a train that was stopped on the tracks, a SLOPD press release states.

As police tried to contact the suspects, the men fled in different directions.

Officers searched several neighborhoods and found one of the suspects blocks away from the scene. They arrested him after a foot pursuit.

Melquiedes Anastacio Rodriguez, 24, of santa Maria was booked in San Luis Obispo County Jail on charges of felony vandalism and resisting arrest. Rodriguez remains in custody with his bail set at $20,000.

Union Pacific Railroad officials estimate the vandalism resulted in about $10,000 worth of damage. Investigators request that anyone who has information about the incident or the outstanding suspect call the police department at (805) 781-7313.

1pm!

Crazy, high, or just plain dumb?

I could never figure out the thrill in spray painting somebody property…

When I was a teenager, I worked for a stone mason. Most of our work is still there. When I visit my home town, I often drive around with pride thinking “I helped build that”.

These punks think of their graffiti in the same light. Their mark to be seen. Misguided and idiotic.

Build that wall!

Thanks for catching these thugs.

They do too much costly damage to

our Railroad Equipment.

There used to be a day when the cops could run down 95% of suspects. Not anymore. Just casually observing our local police, most of our men and women in blue don’t even workout and well over 50% are downright embarrassingly fat.

Seems like the bar on the athleticism scale for cops has been lowered to about ankle high.

I’ve long joked that they need to bring back the Colonial stockcade and put it on the Court House lawn for regularly displaying these “taggers”. Now I seriously believe they should. Put them on display from 9 to noon on Saturdays.

Folks,

Since San Luis Obispo County government embrace sanctuary city policies, Melquiedes Anastacio Rodriguez will not face deportation in this case, and why should he?

Nobody should care that Melquiedes Anastacio Rodriguez decided to spray paint on trains, causing an estimated $10,000 in damages.

Nobody should care that he led our police officers on a reckless and dangerous chase, running from police attempts to arrest him. Who can blame him?

Nobody should care that this defendant will not pay for the damage he caused, or that SLO County officials will not cooperate with ICE in getting this gangster returned to Mexico.

Nobody should care, because he only came for a better life!

Right?

Did you read somewhere else that he is an illegal alien? If not, why do you assume that he is? Will you followup to find out if he really is one and apologize if he isn’t?

If you are looking for a reason to support your views on immigration, find a legitimate one. I am getting really tired of people making claims that reinforce their political viewpoint but have no basis except speculation and prejudice. (Yes, this applies to some liberal claims too.)

In most cultures men are raised to leave a mark through their family legacy and the value they bring to their community.

This is how young men in this culture leave their mark on society?

Another hate crime, brought to you by the Por Que, Que, Que.

What in the hell is the payoff for such activity. What am I missing?
