Mayor candidate Caren Ray does not have our interests at heart

So Hash House Harrier Caren Ray is ladder climbing in her run for mayor of Arroyo Grande. Her stepping stone approach to unseat Lynn Compton as Fourth District San Luis Obispo County Supervisor does not go unnoticed.

Ray is willing do whatever it takes to claw her way back to that coveted Supervisor seat. Conveniently rolling that developer money over from her council campaign into the mayor’s race and has her hand out for more.

Once back on the council, Ray’s first order of business was to ‘black the eye’ of current mayor and gentleman, Jim Hill. She made the motion to ask the sanitation district board to join in an investigation for so-called “misconduct” — as reported by the not-so-reliable sources Patty Welsh and Mary Lucey.

Ray and the sanitation district board members have a cozy relationship; Linda Austin from Oceano and John Shoals from Grover Beach, both are currently under investigation for conflicts of interest by the Fair Political Practices Commission and both have endorsed Ray.

Not surprising Ray is a-okay with conflicts of interest; she totally blew off the Grand Jury’s report identifying sanitation district administrator John Wallace’s conflicts of interests too and was endorsed by Wallace in the 2014 Supervisor race.

Remember those folks that the Tribune endorses often do not have our interests at heart and they are set upon their own courses.

Why would anyone vote for this old has been? She had her chance. Let’s get someone that is trustworthy and will take care of us taxpayers and not special interests. Isn’t that why “WE” elect them???

Caren Ray is morally unfit to represent us in public office, and NO ONE should vote for her to become mayor of Arroyo Grande.  Caren Ray is a schoolteacher who was found to be running around our community NAKED while under the influence of alcohol.


Caren Ray is a whacky, extreme left politician who surrounds herself with other corrupt politicians.  Ray embraces kooky leaders like John Shoals, Mary Lucey, Adam Hill, Heidi Harmon, Carlyn Christianson and Bruce Gibson.  Each of these unethical leaders has been investigated for their corruption, and they cannot match the leadership qualities of people like Jim Hill.


On Election Day, Vote Mayor Jim Hill as Mayor of Arroyo Grande.


Reject Corruption.

For the majority sake who in human history has ever run for the benefit of the common person? There is always a ulterior motive be it power or money,sex or fame. Ray is right there in the mix just like Shoals, Wallace,Gibson,Hill, or the Clinton’s. In my 60 years of life I can recall a few who were true to their calling and Jim Hill is one of them. He took a position he DID not really want, but saw what was happening and did the right thing to correct it best he could, the others not so much. How many times have you read about Hill grandstanding he did this and that and gave a little here and a bunch there. Go look at some of the above mentioned folks website and It will make you puke with their “Were Bitchen” tooting of their horns. Humble? ha,ha,far from it. Like they say you can dazzle them with brilliance or baffle them with bullshit and this bud for them. ;)

Listened in to tonight’s Congalton Show and was blown away by how many facts Ray has wrong.

I’m hard pressed to think of anyone more nauseating than Ms Ray. She is a despicable person who should have been fired from her teaching position years ago for her behavior around young boys. She will say and do anything to ingratiate herself with those who can help her achieve her goals. Yes, this includes rubbing those big, fake breasts up against Katcho who so graciously endorsed her for this campaign. Say NO Arroyo Grande!

Truly an inappropriate slanderous attack. It smacks of desperation. Truly sad. I hope Hill has more to offer than to allow this type of talk to continue.

All you say is true and of course only the tip of the iceberg. She is positioning herself to approve projects designed by her common-law husband Randy Russom as she has done in the past without recusing herself.

The old, only one opinion counts and anything is justified for the cause. Sad display of the degenerative effect of moral relativism and the decline of democracy. One can only hope mayor Hill is equally offered. Sad, very sad.!
