A pair of patients who contracted the Coronavirus have died in Washington State, marking the first two deaths in the United States as a result of the virus.

Meanwhile, the virus is continuing to spread internationally and within the United States, including in California. As of Monday, there are a total of 89 Coronavirus cases in the United States.

In the United States, the virus has spread to Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Wisconsin, Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Florida. The focus continues to be on California and Washington state.

Washington state has 13 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, including an employee at a senior care facility, while California has 40 confirmed cases.

“As of March 1, 2020, there are a total of 40 positive cases in California: 24 are from repatriation flights,” according to California department of Public Health. “The other 16 confirmed cases include nine that are travel related, two due to person-to-person exposure from family contact, two due to person-to-person exposure in a health care facility and three from unknown sources.”

Globally, the virus has spread to about 75 countries. There are approximately 90,000 cases and more than 3,000 deaths as a result of the virus, most of which have occurred in China, where the outbreak originated.

Trailing China, Iran has the second highest death toll from the Coronavirus. There have been 66 deaths in Iran, according to the World Health Organization.

One of the patients who died was an adviser to Iranian Supereme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. Mohammad Mirmohammadi, 71, was a member of Iran’s Expediency Council.

South Korea has more than 4,000 Coronavirus cases, the second highest total. Italy has approximately 1,700 cases, as well as 35 deaths — both of which mark the third most worldwide.

One thing to keep in mind: If you get the CoronaVirus, please do not take Tylenol!

Each year, acetaminophen overdose is responsible for more than 56,000 emergency room visits, 2,600 hospitalizations, and an estimated 458 deaths due to acute liver failure

Acetaminophen poisoning is responsible for nearly HALF of ALL acute liver failure cases in the US. It can be toxic to your liver even at recommended doses when taken daily for just a couple of weeks.

The CoronaVirus is nowhere near as dangerous as acetaminophen. But it sure makes more news….

Sure, you must be right. It’s simply a Chinese hoax, just like climate change. They closed down all those cities and sacrificed millions of yen in losses so they could help the Dems and the media make Trump look bad. Makes sense to me.

DocT, taking your own numbers.

458 tylenol deaths divided by 56,000 emergency room visits is .008 mortality rate.

The Corona virus mortality rate is; .02 to .03, so easily twice if not 3 times as deadly.

But I will give you that the mortality rates for those hospitalized for each group are about the same; 15-17%.

While Coronavirus has a long way to go before it’s as dangerous as the flu….or tuberculosis—neither of which gets as much media fear-inducing attention—I have to admit that for some reason, this hoax is getting even more traction than the last several hoaxes:

Zika, Ebola, H1N1, SARS, Bird Flu, Swine Flu, West Nile Virus and so forth. Each of these were supposed to be really, really big and deadly….until the olympics (Brazil/China) or other event the media was trying to attack was over.

My worry isn’t that I’ll catch Coronavirus. My worry is that our government is looking to establish new restrictions on freedom as a result of the consent being manufactured in the media for just such a thing.

Think of the equivalent of the TSA but for “public health.” Think forced “vaccinations” that don’t work and injure people. Think travel restrictions for people who don’t have all their shots….think more people killed or injured from the vaccines than from the actual disease……(like polio, small pox and measles).

None of this is logical, factual or even newsworthy….unless it is simply being used to manufacture consent, which is nearly always the case.

COVID-19 is more dangerous than the flu. It kills 2-3 per one hundred infected. The flu kills 1 per one thousand infected. Yes, the flu has killed more overall, but is no way near as dangerous.

I read folks are “stocking up” at costco. Stocking up on what? ya gonna stay locked in your house for weeks, months or years? Perhaps the media is trying to get us to outspend the Y2K end of times joke as we were warned of.

Everyone is secretly sending it to their bug out location in Idaho to top off their stash. When SHTF they will pull up stakes and move there to host keg parties while watching California riots on bigscreen TV.

It is a good thing we have a science driven government that is believable, transparent, and one that can be trusted to get needed information out to the people in a timely manner without consideration of politics.

We’d be in a pickle if someone was promulgating falsities; calling this another HOAX saying and it was driven by the enemy of the people-the free press- and Democratic partisans who hope millions die merely for political advantage.

Phew. Sigh of relief. Dodged a bullet.

No one has or is calling this a hoax…but I know one thing for sure spreading falsehoods like that are not going to help anyone…

Ram, please do a simple google search.

Isn’t hard to find our President calling this the next hoax. Nor is it hard to find the clip of Mick Mulvaney saying much worse at CPAC.

Isn’t that what going on Yan? Dont find it odd that the media is reporting like the end times are here, everyone I buying masks, pro entertainers are cancelling shows, schools are preparing to close for months bla, bla, bla yet when it comes to all the political pandering gatherings and we’ll see hoe stupid Tuesday goes, but nobody is talking about these giant people gatherings, many traveling abroad and coming directly off a plane from who knows where, and the reality of how many could get affected. I suppose when we have a top candidate not even sure what office he’s running for this is what we get. Gotta make sure the sheep flock follows the weeds.

Maybe people are confused with the media accurately reporting is China is closing cities the size of NY City, while at the same time the President is saying the April heat will drive the virus away. The two don’t add up.

The incongruent nature of these opposing realities is what sews confusion and panic.
