Motorcyclist dies in Santa Margarita crash

A motorcyclist died Sunday afternoon after crashing his bike in Santa Margarita. [KCOY]
The California Highway Patrol received a call around 3 p.m. Sunday about the crash on West Pozo Road south of Las Positas Road.
Officers said the fatal crashed occurred when the motorcyclist tried to make a turn that threw him off his bike.
An off-duty paramedic pronounced the man dead before the CHP arrived.
