Nipomo death ruled a homicide

The San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Department has ruled the death a homicide and continues to investigate. A passerby discovered Gonzalez’s body at 6:49 a.m. on Feb. 15.
Police, who say this is the first murder in San Luis Obispo County this year, are asking anyone with information to call Sheriff’s Detectives at (805) 781-4500 or Sheriff’s Dispatch at (805) 781-4550.
