Stabbing suspect turns himself in to police

Shortly after San Luis Obispo police announced on Monday that they were searching for a man who allegedly stabbed another man Sunday evening, the suspect walked into the police station and surrendered.
After, Geffery Stephenson, 19, stabbed a man he had been having an argument with at De Vaul Parl near Madonna Road, he fled the scene and headed towards Los Osos. Police found Stephenson’s cell phone, credit cards and an I.D. at the scene
Emergency personnel transported the victim, who was suffering from a stab wound to the torso that punctured a lung, to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.
Police booked Stephenson into the San Luis Obispo County Jail with his bail set at $25,000.
