Santa Barbara man allegedly beat woman to death

A 39-year-old Santa Barbara man allegedly beat to death a woman with whom he has a two-year-old child. [KSBY]
At around 1:40 p.m., Santa Barbara police arrived at an apartment complex in the 500 block of W. Los Olivos Street to find the 39-year-old woman dead from injuries caused by the beating.
Officers deemed the incident domestic abuse and charged Wadford with murder. They booked him in Santa Barbara County Jail, where he remains on $1 million bail.
Police have not yet released the name of the victim. Officers say the two-year-old child was physically unharmed.
