November 25, 2014
A Grover Beach man is accused of burglarizing four neighboring Arroyo Grande businesses during a three-day span last week.
Arroyo Grande police received reports of each of the burglaries occurring in the 1000 block of Grand Avenue from Nov. 19 through Nov. 21. Investigators acquired surveillance video of the incidents, which showed a male suspect and a getaway vehicle.
On Saturday, officers located the vehicle while it was parked on the block where the burglaries occurred. When Donald Bruce Folb, 49 got back in his car and took off, officers pulled him over.
The officers searched Folb’s vehicle and found several stolen goods from the burglaries.
Officer then found additional property from the burglarized businesses at Folb’s Grover Beach home. They recovered more than $3,400 of property that Folb allegedly stole.
Police arrested Folb for commercial burglary and possession of stolen property. They also determined that he was on active probation.
Folb is currently in San Luis Obispo County Jail on $40,000 bail.
