Will he get to earn minimum wage in prison?

Slandering Ted,

Nice try, fella, but your presumption is wrong. This perp worked in the City of Santa Maria Youth Sports Program, and he belongs to the Mormon Church.

Go figure.

I am taking it at face value that this alleged child molester is a Mormon, as you say, which is as bad as a hell bound Catholic. Both of these divisions of Christianity are some of the most ungodly rewrites of our faith known to man.

When you’re continually taught that all of your sins will be forgiven by Jesus the Christ, then it opens the door, as in this case, to enact acts of child molestation upon innocent children and get away with it. You may pay for it on earth with a long jail term, but heaven awaits upon your demise.

For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13) Can’t get any simpler than this, can it? Saving one in this manner is one of the greatest “hooks” that any religion can proffer to become a member. Conversely, and in essence, there is no incentive not to sin.

Amen.

It is a bit more complicated than that; try reading the context – not just picking out one line and saying that is all there is to it.

Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.

But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.

But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

Take it in its entirety, not just a small part you would like to twist for your own ends.

rOy,

Barring the fact that you agree with me that Jesus came ONLY for the Hebrews, and that the bible is for Hebrews ONLY, and deducing it to it’s irreducible primary where it is simply put; “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

Thank you.

Roy, don’t feed the trolls…:) He chose his log-in for a reason.

Is it really ok for prisoners to mistreat others? Really? Let the animals be animals? Even animals aren’t that bad.

We can only assume that Daniel James Moreno was a member of another Catholic church that has now immersed itself into yet another child molestation situation. At least this child molestation charge has been exposed, and wasn’t able to be covered up like many cases before it.

It is such an irony to read horse_soldier’s response to this story below, and I am sure future disparaging responses towards Mr. Daniel James Moreno will be forthcoming, knowing all the while that some of them will be from assumed Christians. These pseudo-christians of mention are allowed to hate the alleged sin that Mr. Daniel James Moreno has enacted and condemn it, but at the same time, they’re to love Mr. Moreno by showing him respect (1 Peter 2:17), and praying for him (1 Timothy 2:1) and most importantly, they are to forgive him! (Colossians 3:13, Matthew 18:21-22, Ephesians 4:32, Matthew 6:14, and Matthew 18:35).

As a true Christian, it is sometimes very hard to accept our faith with reason as we pass judgment upon others, but at the same time in this case, we’re to love, respect, and to forgive Daniel James Moreno, nonetheless.

Let us pray.

Who is “we” – do you have a small mouse in your pocket?

rOy,

Because the hell bound Catholic church is always in the forefront of child molestation and coverups. It a “go to” Bronze Age religion when the topic of molesting children is concerned. Get it? Yeah, you do.

While it does not help the child, the rest of us can take solace in the treatment these predators receive in prison.

While perhaps true, let us at least allow a trial and conviction before passing judgement. I understand the sensitivity of the issue, but we should never forego trial before peers, etc.

If he is found guilty, then may he meet his fate here and beyond. Until then, he is only accused.
