Teen stabbed on Paso Robles walking path

An 18-year-old man was stabbed on a Paso Robles walking path Wednesday night. The teen, who suffered non-life threatening injuries, was transferred to a hospital in Santa Barbara for treatment.
Around 11:30 p.m., police received a report about a stabbing victim being treated at Twin Cities Community Hospital. Officers responded and determined an 18-year-old man had suffered two stab wounds to his torso.
The victim said he had been attacked by at least one suspect while he was on a walking path in the area of Centennial Park, which is located at 600 Nickerson Drive. Following the stabbing, the victim went to the home of a nearby friend, and his friends transported him to a local hospital. Emergency personnel later transferred him to Santa Barbara.
During the initial investigation, police did not manage to locate the crime scene. Detectives later determined the stabbing occurred on the walking path closer to the area of Andrea Circle and Lana Street.
Investigators believe the stabbing was an isolated incident and not gang related.
