During San Luis Obispo Mayor Heidi Harmon’s victory party on Friday, political unrest over Trump led to an argument that included drinks being tossed across a large round banquet table.

While Harmon invited all members of the public to attend her victory party last Friday, several attendees made rude comments to a man who attended the event wearing a Trump T-shirt with a name tag that said “white privilege.” The man, who arrived early, sat at a table at the back of the Masonic Hall on Marsh Street.trump-supporter

While the Trump supporter conversed with a man sitting next to him, a woman at the table yelled at him for wearing a Trump T-shirt, and then tossed her drink across the table hitting the man in the face, multiple attendees confirmed.

With liquid dripping down his shirt, the man stood up, told the woman not to touch him and tossed the contents of his glass at her. After she left the table, a group of men approached the Trump supporter asking him what had occurred, according to a tape of the incident.

While some attendees faulted the woman for attacking the Trump supporter, others found the man at fault for attending the event while wearing a Trump T-shirt.

“For all we know he has a gun in his leg,” said one attendee, according to an audio tape of the incident. “That poor lady.”

“You people were vicious, violent, screaming, ‘Where’s the wall? We want the wall!’ Screaming, ‘Prison! Prison! Lock her up!’ I mean you are going crazy. I mean, you were nasty and mean and vicious and you wanted to win, right?” Trump said Friday. “But now, you’re mellow and you’re cool and you’re not nearly as vicious or violent, right? Because we won, right?”

“A gun in his leg” I saw a movie trailer about a woman with a gun in HER leg. Weird coincidence?

Created Drama? Don’t you think she owes Ms. Harmon a sincere written apology?

OMG….and she was how old?? Who let that Woman in?? She needs to mature up before she is let out in public again! And next time NO WINE! NO BOOZE FOR YOU Lady!! Seems she has issues controlling herself.

Trump Fan or NOT No excuse for acting out, especially at a celebration for someone else! How embarrassing for her,,,,

If someone wears a Dodgers jersey to a Giants game, I’d think they were an a-hole. Do I throw my $15 beer on him. No. He has every right to wear that shirt and profess his support for his team. If this Trump fan wants to be an a-hole and wear a Trump T-shirt to ultra-liberal Harmon’s victory party, that is his right and he shouldn’t be accosted for it.

He can wear what he wants without being deemed an a-hole.

but many feel he is an a-hole if he is not wearing the “right” t-shirt, go figure.

Wait a minute…back up the souvenir truck. What if it was a Dodgers vs Giants game?????

Depends…is the the game at Chavez Ravine or AT&T park? :)

You’re simply wrong. Anyone (particularly a kid) wearing “a Dodgers jersey to a Giants game” is not automatically an “a-hole.” It all depends on how they comport themselves at the game.

I attended one game at Dodger Stadium where a 20-something couple were clad in Giant’s gear from head to toe. No one cared until they got drunk and obnoxious during the game. When it was clear their precious Giants were going to lose, they really turned-on the nasty/filthy comments. That’s when they were removed from the stadium for their own protection.

Had a WOMAN been wearing a CLINTON shirt and a name tag that read “I’m not deplorable” at this event and a MAN threw a drink on her, I’m certain he would have been ARRESTED.

A tossed drink! Yikes!

Super shocking that when two emotionally stunted people with opposite political views came into contact, childishness ensued.
