December 23, 2012

Officers arrested a San Luis Obispo man for hit-and-run after two female pedestrians were struck and killed late Friday on Highway 154 near Lake Cachuma in the Santa Ynez Valley. [Noozhawk]

The two currently unnamed women — aged 54 and 49 — were struck by multiple vehicles. They were declared dead at the scene.

One of the victims was struck by an eastbound Toyota Yaris driven by Karen Gong, 45, of Oak View, who stopped at the scene.

Martin Macarena, 48, of San Luis Obispo allegedly hit the other victim and then fled the scene. Officers tracked him down at the Chumash Casino where they arrested him for felony hit-and-run..

Witnesses told investigators the second victim may have been struck by several westbound vehicles.

Officers are investigating why the women exited their vehicle, which was parked on the right shoulder, and entered the traffic lanes, Noozhawk said.

If it is indeed the same person, he should have been sitting in jail.

December 23, 2012, “Martin Macarena” is age 48.

October 2011, “Martin Macarena” is age 46.

Could be.

same guy

“Officers are investigating why the women exited their vehicle, which was parked on the right shoulder, and entered the traffic lanes”

If Martin Macarena had stopped it would have just been a fatal traffic collision.

He hit the other or second victim and then fled the scene.

This is they type of mind he has, thus this be his karma.

Inquiring mind wants to know.

Is this the same guy that was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon a year ago?
