The thing I’ve always wondered about Alex is this: why did his funeral procession go down Higuera Street when it could have followed eponymous Madonna Road and passed all the chain store nightmares Madonna plopped down there in exchange for big piles of money? They could have buried him on Dalidio Ranch and covered him with Applebee’s franchise #93983.
