Homeless man busted for child porn in Oceano

A homeless man, accused of possessing child pornography, is being arraigned today in San Luis Obispo Superior Court.
Detectives from the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department arrested Lawrence Alan Baughman on Jan. 7 in Oceano. Detectives traced thousands of images of child pornography to Baughman’s computer through the work of the department’s Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement (SAFE) team.
According to police, Baughman lives in his car, but keeps computer equipment stored in a separate van. Hundreds of additional discs, also believed to be containing child pornography, were also seized.
