Upcoming benefits set to help Mark Ratto
June 18, 2010
The many friends of Mark Ratto are rallying to help raise money after the Cambria computer specialist was diagnosed with multiple myeloma.
Ratto, 49, has been fighting the disease, a rare blood condition, for more than a year. Doctors recently changed Ratto’s status to terminal and he has accumulated significant medical bills.
This weekend there will be a yard sale, 2 miles up on San Simeon Creek Road off Highway 1 in Cambria–6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 19 and from 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, June 20.
There will also be a gathering to support Ratto on Saturday, June 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Linn’s Fruit Bin Farmstore on Santa Rosa Creek Road, about 5 miles from Main Street in Cambria.
If unable to attend, donations can be made directly to: Mark Ratto, P.O. Box 111, Cambria, CA 93428
