Grover Beach Summer Concert Series, event photos

Folks were in for a relaxing afternoon in the big grassy commons of the Ramona Garden Park this Sunday. This week’s Sizzlin’ Summer Concert Series in Grover Beach featured the soulful, rollicking music of the Guy Budd Band, played beneath a mosaic of tree-shade and ringed by an appreciative, foot-tapping crowd.

A combination concert and farmer’s market, the Grover Beach series makes a good stop for families. Beach chairs and brightly colored blankets scattered across the park and children played in the cobbled stream. The colorful farmer’s market bordering the edge was stocked with fresh flowers, berries, ice cream bars, a bounce house and all manner of local wares.
