Diver drowns at Lake Nacimiento

A diver drowned during a salvage mission at Lake Nacimiento on Sunday after he became trapped under the water. [KCOY]
On Saturday, a boat sank in 60 to 70 feet of water at Bee Rock Cove. Two men were attempting to recover the boat when one became entangled, was unable to free himself, and ran out of air.
The man was reported dead at the scene.
San Luis Obispo Sheriff deputies are investigating the incident. The identity of the diver is not being released at this time.
