Former Meg Whitman’s housekeeper goes to the press

The former housekeeper for California Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman is expected to hold a press conference Wednesday, offering what sources say are “controversial and explosive allegations.” [TMZ]

Whitman’s campaign chairman, former governor Pete Wilson said he is unaware of any claim against Whitman by the former housekeeper. Wilson also said “The timing of this is highly suspect.”

The Latina housekeeper and her Los Angeles attorney Gloria Allred are having a press conference Wednesday at 11 a.m. The housekeeper will make allegations about “how she suffered as an employee of Whitman’s.”

A lawsuit is also expected to be filed.

Later and more thorough news reports tell a different story. First, it is true that Gloria Allred is well known in California for these stunts and she is a close friend of Jerry Brown.


In addition, Reuters News Service is now reporting (3:45pm Wed.) the following: The Whitman campaign released a U.S. Immigration and Naturalization employment eligibility verification form signed by Diaz when she was hired by Whitman in which she asserts under penalty of perjury that she is a lawful permanent resident.


In California this is simply not going to change a person’s mind as there is no surprise here. The real question is how did Ms. Diaz end up as a client of Gloria Allred, friend of Jerry Brown and whose office is in Los Angeles? It sounds like Allred tracked down Diaz to see if there was any dirt.

Apparently the undocumented maid worked for Whitman for 9 years ending June 2009. Apparently she was fired when Whitman decided to run for governor because she was concerned about the media finding out about her illegal migrant maid who she paid $23 hour. The maid insists she told Whitman at time of hire that she was undocumented and even asked her help in obtaining a immigration attorney, which she said she refused.


Apparently Mr. Whitman was the smarter of the 2 and apparently stated to his wife” that someday this was going to come back at them”.


The Whitman campaign issued a statement, that when she was hired she presented a California drivers license and a social security card.


So the question is? Does Whitman have the copies of the ID’s as required by employment verification documents?


If not, I say Whitman is just another lying politician with the “Do as I say and not as I do” attitude!


This could make her campaign pledge of a tough stand on immigration reform a failure based on apparent miss representation of her own practices.


For better or worse, lets hope the truth and facts are made public and let the consequences fall where they may!

Isn’t Allred when of the MAIN reasons, at the top of most peoples lists, as to why they hate lawyers!?? She gives the name, “human being”, a bad rep.

Another leech trying to cash in on someone running for public office and another ambulance chaser trying to cash in on more fame and money by propping up this leech.

The latina allegedly worked for Whitman for nine years without a peep, falsified her documentation to get hired by the placement firm and never told anyone about being an illegal alien until now.

This has the smell of pay me off quick before we write a book, written all over it…

GLORIA ALLRED-The ultimate dirtbag lawyer. Talk about the lack of any creditbility and Ms. Gloria would have to be the headliner.

There are many many people people serving some serious time in our prisons for alot less that what Gloria Allred is doing under the pretense of the law.

I’m now leaving the room to vomit.

No doubt the latina is living it up at the Hilton and Gloria is shopping on Rodeo Drive and gearing up for those beloved camera’s.
