Missing Shell beach man found dead in ocean

Police identified a body found in the ocean off of Shell Beach Saturday near Dinosaur Caves Park as Dylan Winebrenner.
Winebrenner, 32, was last seen Sept. 25. Friends had reported him as possibly missing Friday after they spotted Winebrenner’s 15-year-old dog on a portion of beach not assessable from the cliffs above while they were kayaking near Dinosaur Caves Park.
One friend told police that it was unusual because Winebrenner, a frequent kayaker, took his dog everywhere he went.
