SLO employee discriminates via Facebook

A San Luis Obispo Police department administrative assistant called her fellow staffers names and told them where they should go after a department employee asked to have her photo taken off a Christmas tree for religious reasons.

The outburst was a surprise to some as city employees recently concluded a mandatory internet anti-harassment and discrimination course that focused heavily on social media. In addition, Assistant to the Chief Christine Wallace has also attended an anger management course.

“Hey assholes at my new job, GFY (go fuck yourselves),” Wallace posted on her Facebook page shortly after then Chief Deborah Linden told her photos were only to be used for department purposes.

Wallace did not respond to requests for comment through her Facebook account.

In early December, Wallace decorated a Christmas tree with photos of police department employees. After discovering her photo on the tree, an employee who does not believe in celebrating Christmas asked to have her likeness removed from the decorated tree.

Linden responded by sending out a department email on Dec. 16 noting the employee’s request and saying that in the future staff photos are to be restricted to department uses.

“The tree is intended as a fun decoration and there was no intent to make anyone uncomfortable,” Linden said in the email. “So, if you do not want your photo on the tree, please let Christine know and she will remove it.

“As a reminder, the employee photos on the G-drive are intended for use when a department need arises,” Linden added. “Photos other than your own should not be used for non-departmental purposes without the permission of the person in the photo.”

Wallace, who had recently been promoted from a supervisory position with the city’s parks and recreations department, posted her angry Facebook rant later that day.

The city’s Parking Services Manager Robert Horch responded in surprise to Wallace’s angry post.

“Wow……you ok?” Horch posted.

Before securing her new police department position a few months ago, Wallace was in charge of rentals for the city’s parks and recreation department. After several complaints from the public that Wallace was openly hostile during rental negotiations, city officials ordered her to take anger management classes.

Phone requests for comment placed through the dispatch line to Captain Chris Staley, the acting chief, were not returned. Calls to the non-emergency line at the police department are currently routed to a voice message that says Wallace is on vacation and will return calls after she returns on Jan. 3.

You are quite possibly the rudest and most inappropriate person I have ever had the displeasure of working with, and it’s embarrassing to the city that you still hold well paying jobs with your antics…especially when so many would bend over backwards to have a job. I’m sorry the Anger Management didn’t seem to work for you. You could really benefit from such a thing. Hopefully this public outing of your ridiculous behavior is enough embarrassment for you to get your shit together for your job and your child.

Hahhha, It just dawned on me that they put her in the police department because they were afraid of her or what she might do!! It’s very hard to terminate “our servants”, they have all sorts of special rights. I bet they figured that the PD was the safest work place for her as she wouldn’t be able to beat any of them up if she snapped! Also, they (the PD) are trained to watch for the signs of a person who is about to “go off” on them… LOL LOL LOL..


I’m thinking of the reply from one of her co-workers to her FB post, “WOW are you alright?” He was just checking !!!! LOL LOL

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a response on here quite like this one. Shelworth’s comment has 97 thumbs up. I would imagine a lot of these people are police and city employees. I would say this woman is VERY MUCH disliked by a LOT of people.

Once again, the ugliness of the “pseudo-christian” element presents itself in an ignorant and embarrassing manner by having a Christmas tree to begin with!


Yes, yes, barring the fact of a Christmas tree in the police department signifying a CHRISTIAN celebration, was there a Minora of the Jewish faith relative to Hanukkah, or a Mishumaa Saba (The Seven Candles) celebrating Kwanzaa, all of which also celebrate at this time of year? Yes? Probably not!


The main concern is having a decorated Christmas tree in the first place which is blaspheme against our Lord! It is the way of the HEATHEN to have a decorated tree, so saith our Christian God!


“Hear ye the word the lord speaketh unto you O house of Israel. Thus saith the lord, learn not and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the CUSTOMS OF THE PEOPLE are vain’ for one cutteth a tree out of the forrest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and gold, they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it not move. They are upright as a palm tree, but speak not ; they must needs be borne; because they cannot go, be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good” (Jeremiah 10: 1-5)


What do you pay homage to when you have a Christmas Tree? The impetus for the tree is Jesus, period! CHRIST-mas tree. Get it? Since God stated that only the heathens cut and decorate a tree as an homage to some God, do you want to embarrass Jesus’ celebration by doing the same to Him through the Christmas Tree? HELLO? More “assumed” Christians should learn this passage: “Thus saith God, Learn not the way of the heathen . . .” (Jer. 10:2).


Christmas trees are derived from man. Therefore, our God is very specific about following the traditions of men! Mark 7:8, Mat. 15:3, Mark 7:13, Col. 2:8, Gal. 4:3, John 7:17, Titus 1:9, Rom. 8:14-16.


Christine Wallace, as if your ungodly “potty mouth” isn’t embarrassing enough, you place a heathen decorated Christmas tree within the confines of the police department, therefore slapping the face of Jesus! SHAMEFUL! You’ll pay upon Judgment Day, that is for sure!

What this represents, is the FACT, that if within the 20 dislikes there were actually “assumed” Christians that were voting! Where do they get the authority to know more than God’s word regarding the HEATHEN Christmas tree tp

This has always been the case with the pseudo-christian faction, where they become “Burger King Christians”, in that they want their bible “their way”, AND NOT GOD’S WAY! They are too use to their “traditions” by men and corporations that go directly against our God’s word regarding Jeremiah 10: 1-5!


Furthermore, this faction that dislikes God’s truth as shown in my post, can’t respond to show that what I propose in the name of our God is wrong, but all they can produce is their silence, as they perform their “drive by dislike voting!”


I can almost here the trap doors of Hell springing open to the sulfur lakes below, as they stand before God on Judgment Day! What a sad day this will be for them. :(

When they perform this Satanic act, they are essentially saying that they don’t believe in our Christian God’s direct word in His bible! Can you believe this?!

Ted, look up the history of the Christmas Tree. It didn’t exist in biblical times. Whatever tree they were talking about had an entirely different meaning. No one worships a Christmas Tree. STOP messing with people.

You leave me with no other option. I feel it necessary to correct your ignorance once again so that you won’t spew your perceived knowledge to another. Jesus has given me this passage to use against the uninformed like you: “When arguing with fools, be sure to answer their foolish arguments, or they will become wise in their own estimation” (Proverbs 26:5)


Of course the Christmas Tree wasn’t within the biblical times, duh! The “meaning” of the tree in question is that by decorating same is HEATHEN, and that this faction cannot do good, and of which, was within biblical times! GET IT?


This kind of heathen activity is precisely what Jeremiah is referring to in Jeremiah 10: 1-5. He was telling the Israelites not to learn the way of the heathen by cutting a tree out of the forest and decorating it. Such customs were normally associated with the seasonal feasts of the pagans (especially those of the Solstices or Equinoxes). The modern Christmas tree is a prime example in our day of what the heathens were doing in the time of Jeremiah! Furthermore, decorations equal idoltry! UNDERSTAND?


A simple syllogism for you to swallow. The decorated CHRISTmas tree is in celebration of Jesus. Within God’s word, the aforementioned tree is of the heathen customs. Do we want to celebrate Jesus on December 25th as being within the heathen realm? NO WE DO NOT, GET IT?!


But, as for the pseudo-christian, preachers, and religious leaders today, they condone the whole thing and delight in this heathen act! BLASPHEME! How ungodly can all of you get as you slap Jesus in the face with this heathen act known as the decorated Christmas Tree?!


Uh, where was it mentioned that the Christmas Tree was “worshipped” as you so proffer? This is just another one of your red herring assertions to try in vain to support your otherwise, as shown, VERY WEAK ARGUMENT!


Cindy, if you would only learn this biblical passage, it would save you further embarrassment! “Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, BUT TO BE IN SILENCE.” ( 1 Timothy 2: 11-12 ) Cindy, if you speak from this point on, are you saying that you know more than the word of the Christian God?!

Jeremiah simply states that Idols are nothing but wood cut from the forest and adorned with gold and silver. He doesn’t even mention a tree. You’re just so full of it.

Please, learn your limitations, okay? You’re beyond any point where you can actually deciphor any biblical narratives to their intended meaning. Serioulsy, you’re wet behind the ears in your “assumed” biblical knowledge. It is truly laughable!

Wow! is all I can say here. And she was promoted to the Police Department? Talk about having a loose canon running around and has all that access to your information. I don’t normally agree with alot here but in this case, this is a no brainer. Hit the road lady, oh one other thing, if she was promoted, isn’t she on a probation period? You would think that this would be terms for termination for failure to pass her probation period.
