Helen Bace

An Oceano woman is accused of attempting to smuggle a baggie of marijuana to a friend incarcerated at the San Luis Obispo County Jail.

Shortly before 2 p.m. on Tuesday, a San Luis Obispo County Sheriff deputy arrested Helen Bace, 43, after an off-duty officer noticed she was acting suspiciously outside of the jail grounds. Bace allegedly dropped a baggie of marijuana on the grounds for a friend to retrieve.

Deputies booked Bace into jail on felony suspicion of bringing or sending a controlled substance to jail. She was later released on $25,000 bail.

Hire this woman, particularly at ASH. What the world really needs is a mellowing out of locked-up people.

Putting aside the reasons for why the incarcerated needed someone to provide weed to him, her approach was not very well thought out.

I have a cat who could come up with a better, more successful, plan than the one she devised.

We don’t need to know about your, er …cat .

Sorry Mary, but Slowerfaster, that was funny.

When I watched this and then read Mary’s post again I had to LOL all over again. Oh Mary I’m glad you said that and not me.

Well Mary, my Jack Russell Terrier could carry the bag in his mouth & leap up high enough to “deliver” the baggie! HA!

A friend with weed, is a friend indeed.

I’m sure her “excuse” will be that it was going to be used for “medicinal” purposes! HA!

Nothing like a true friend in this life. God Bless
