4.2 earthquake strikes the Central Coast

October 29, 2012

A magnitude 4.2 earthquake occurred Sunday five miles northwest of Pinnacles and 13 miles northeast of Soledad on California’s Central Coast. [LATimes]

The U.S. Geological Survey reported that the temblor occurred at 9:25 p.m. on the San Andreas Fault in a wilderness area.

The Pinnacles National Monument is a vast wilderness area of canyons and monoliths created from ancient volcanoes and seismic activity.

There were no immediate reports of injury or damage.

Maybe they should put the scientists in jail for not predicting it. You are not going to believe this, but:

Italy: Six scientists and a politician were convicted of manslaughter because they failed to predict a major earthquake and warn residents of the danger. [Outraged scientists around the world are saying they no longer will give advice to governments regarding natural disasters – unless, of course, they are dishonestly weighted in favor of predicting worst-case scenarios. That is what governments want because it justifies their demand for more power and funding, supposedly to deal with the disasters.] RT 2012 Oct 23

I saw that article when it was first published.

My first thought was, “So, they’re going to start arresting weather forecasters when they are wrong?”

Didn’t feel it… hmmm… didn’t feel the other one (late night few nights back).

Oh well.

It helps to be sober to feel them.

It doesn’t matter anyway because we’re in the end times. Jesus stated; “See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and EARTHQUAKES. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.” (Matt. 24:4-8)

Yep, sounds about right!
