Man dies in Paso Robles Motorcycle crash

A man died Sunday after crashing his motorcycle into a dirt berm in Paso Robles.
Paso Robles police and the Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services responded to the motorcycle crash at the intersection of 24th Street and Mountain Springs Road around 1:16 p.m. on Sunday. The motorcyclist failed to conduct a proper turn and struck the berm, ejecting him from the vehicle.
Emergency personnel transported the motorcyclist, who sustained major injuries, to Twin Cities Community Hospital, where doctors later pronounced him dead.
The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
The Paso Robles Police Department is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash and has not determined yet whether drugs or alcohol were factors. Police have yet to release the motorcyclist’s identity.
