4.1 magnitude earthquake shakes San Simeon

A 4.1 magnitude earthquake struck near San Simeon Thursday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake hit 9 miles south southwest of San Simeon at 11:42 a.m. The shallow earthquake occurred 3.5 miles below the earth’s surface.
San Luis Obispo County residents from San Simeon to Arroyo Grande said they felt the quake (did you feel it?). However, there are not yet any reports of damage.
