Body found near San Simeon

San Luis Obispo Sheriff investigators are working to identify the cause of death and the identity of a man discovered in a tent in San Simeon Thursday evening.
A passerby reported the body found near the mouth of Pico Creek. He appeared to have been dead for some time.
Investigators believe the man was in his mid to late 50s. Sheriff’s officials are continuing the investigation.
